Run @ the Bay
Got to the bay 15 mins later than I wanted to, but I was fighting with my snooze button.
This was a rough run for me. My allergies kicked in real nice this morning. I was congested in my head and chest. Made it real fun to run. I was fighting with myself the whole way. I had to keep stopping cuz I would get fatigued from not being able to breath and somewhere along the way I got a minor bloody nose. But everytime I stopped it was only for less than a tenth of a mile. I still averaged a 10:30, which is better than I thought I did. I didn’t quit though..I accomplished my goal of 9 miles

Persistance and heart…good job! 9 miles is a long way no matter how you cut it! Are you gonna run the “human race” in 2 weeks? I wish I were closer to one, I would have tried to work it out, but 6 hours for a 45 minute race isn’t going to be worth it for many reasons. Anyway, keep it up…how do you like the book?

Thank you for the encouraging words. This was probably the worst run for me. It shoulda been a good one, cuz the bay is beautiful that time of morning. It starts to get warm around 10:00 though.
I love the book. Been busy lately, haven’t had much time to read it. I did recommend it to my co-worker last Thursday, and she read the whole book over the weekend! I couldn’t believe it. She’s a read-a-holic though.
