I accidentally deleted this post yesterday. My mom agreed to help me out by buying me the Women’s Timex Ironman BodyLink System. I was going to get the Garmin 405, but it was only the watch. With this I get the other two items. The watch I have now is a Sportsline something or other and frustrates the crap out of me. It has never given me my HR when I am running. If I want to know..I have to STOP! And it hasn’t been real accurate with my distance. If I want to know how far I ran I have to wait for my cool down, jump in my car and go figure it out by reseting my trip meter. I ran 7.1 miles last night and the watch said I ran 6.47. It did it’s job, but since I am increasing my distance I want to know all the other stuff too.
Thanks again Mom
Luv u ![]()

Practicing a life of integrity
What is integrity? It’s being the same person in front of people as you are when no one is looking. It’s making your words and your actions match up.
Practicing integrity with yourself
In other words, if you set a goal to do something, keep your word with yourself and do it! No matter what it takes, do it. Don’t lie to yourself.
Make a daily, weekly, or monthly (even if it is only mental, although having it written down you can go back on it later) list of those things that you need to do, but keep putting off. (i.e. for me is getting the bike pedal fixed on my son’s bike or that I will do 21 miles in a week)
If you will practice integrity with yourself then you’ll have no problem believing in God’s integrity. Meaning He keeps His Word just like you keep your word.
Food for thought ![]()

I will admit I walked some of it, the loop back was all up hill (a little under 1000 ft of elevation..I think) All I know is I didn’t expect all the hills when I mapped it..I was getting my butt kicked by them. I pushed up each hill til I felt like I was wearing concrete shoes. Them walked a few yards, then started to run at the top of the hill. So I gotta get credit there somewhere. I think I swallowed the bug..cuz by the time I tried to spit it out..nothing. Oh well..probably happen many more times

Normally on Thursdays I have small group, but it was cancelled. So now I can run.
I woke up this morning wanting to run, but realized I had small group. I didn’t want to take off two days from running. But no worries now.
I’m going to try to run the loop at my house. I think from one freeway exit to the other is 6-7. The other night when I ran 6 I felt I could do it, but I was running out of light. I might register a slow time for the distance since there are a lot of hills (big and small) in Alpine. I don’t think there is anything flat there. LOL
So I hope I get off at normal time tonight. It’s payday so I have to go to the bank then straight home.
I mapped the loop at www.mapmyrun.com and it said 6.75. So I was about right.

Needed the night off hams & calves a bit tight from the splits. So I made some hodgepodge of 5 chicken breasts, diced whole yellow onion, 2 diced red peppers, 2 diced yellow peppers, 1 orange pepper, and probably 3 cups of this awesome marinade from Costco called Mojo Criollo. Ran outta rice, so I thru it over noodles. Never cooked before..until recently. I don’t measure I just throw stuff in and let it slow cook. Needless to say I now have enough to feed a small army. LOL. That’s ml..I can eat it tomorrow

I read this in one of my christian magazines. (I hope it doesn’t offend anyone).
Reading just this portion of the article has motivated me even more!!
Because one of my short term ‘DREAMS!’ is to run the Vegas Marathon..I’m ‘PURSUING IT!’, and as much as my ADHD kicks in after 1.5 miles and I get bored until mile 3..I ‘STICK WITH IT!’ and everyday I get up and think ‘What type of excercise am I going to do today?’ I’m ‘LIVING IT!’
First you have to dream it! You have to see it on the inside
of you. It is already God’s dream, but it has to become
YOUR dream. It has to be something that is alive on the
inside of you, something that puts you to bed at night with
a smile on your face and wakes you up in the morning with
drive and motivation.
When you use the phrase “I can’t imagine that happening
to me” what you are saying is that you cannot dream it. This
favorite phrase of the enemy keeps believers from having
what is rightfully theirs. My good friend, Happy Caldwell,
from Little Rock, Arkansas, was in Hawaii on vacation.
Happy saw this beautiful house up on a hill overlooking the
ocean. Happy said out loud, “I can’t imagine living in a
place like that.” And the Lord spoke to him and said, “Don’t
worry about it. You never will.” Happy said, “Lord, why
not?” The Lord said to him, “Because if you can’t imagine
it or dream it, you will never have it.”
Years ago the Lord gave me a phrase “if you can’t conceive
it, you can’t receive it.” So you have to dream it first. You
have to be able to see it on the inside before it can ever
become a reality on the outside. So dream it!
To envision your dream you have to see yourself with it.
You have to meditate and think on it, rehearsing it over and
over in your mind and heart. In Joshua 1:8 (AMP) God tells
us how our dreams can come to pass, “This Book of the Law
shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it
day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that
is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and
then you shall deal wisely and have good success.” Meditation to
the believer is the same thing as worry to the nonbeliever.
Worry is meditating on wrong information. Worry brings
fear. And it all starts with negatively meditating on the
wrong thing. If you meditate on the Word it will produce
faith, the opposite of fear. When we meditate on the Word
we will make our way prosperous and we will have good
success. God is no respecter of persons so this promise is
not just for Joshua but for everyone.
This is what the Apostle Paul was referring to in Ephesians
3:18 (AMP), “That you may have the power and be strong to
apprehend and grasp with all the saints [God’s devoted people,
the experience of that love] what is the breadth and length and
height and depth [of it].” When we are able to comprehend
something, we can see it on the inside. It is now more
than just words in a book. It has now taken on the form
of a dream. It is first God’s dream and now it becomes
our dream. It is not just wishful thinking, but you can see
yourself taking possession of it.
DO YOU SEE WHAT GOD SEES?
Did you know that God does not see you as the sick? He
would have to deny Calvary to call you sick. He is looking
through that blood. He would have to deny the sacrifice
of Jesus at Calvary. If there is anyone that believes that
sacrifice works, it is God. In the eyes of God, you are not
the sick. You are the healed. In God’s eyes, you are not
broke. You are one that has the surplus of prosperity. The
more you meditate on God’s Word the more you will see
things through His eyes. What He sees will be painted on
the canvas of our hearts, and we will see ourselves as God
sees us. It will cause us to become focused on our dream.
We will not be moved by what is happening around us but
we will only be moved by the Word and the image we see on
the inside of us. What you see will eventually become so real
on the inside of you that no matter what the circumstances
look like on the outside, you will be fully persuaded that the
good life is your destiny. No one will be able to talk you
out of it, and nothing will be able to stop you from having
it. You will become intensely passionate about it. You will
see it on the inside when you go to bed. It will inspire you
when you get up. It will energize you when others say it will
never happen. You will only be able to hear what God says.
You will not believe people’s reports but you will believe the
report of the Lord. You have God’s dream on the inside of
you and you are determined that you are going to give it
your all, and you are not going to give up until it is reality.
You are not going to let go. You are going to embrace your
dream.
Tap into the good life. DREAM IT! PURSUE IT!
STICK WITH IT! LIVE IT! The result will be that you
are living your dream. – AIF
